In the 90s, it wasn’t uncommon to have a mini tube TV - often with a built-in VCR - right on the kitchen counter. In 2025, if I want to watch something while working in the kitchen, it’s on my phone propped up on an upside-down pizza box spacer. Is this really the future we were promised?
